I am trying to view a multipage postscript document produced with TeX and dvips Both the preview and yap applications print all pages on top of one another so that the result is a black window due to this superposition. I am aware that the topic of multipage postscript documents and preview has already been discussed and that inserting a $$page at the end of each page can fix the problem. However, I have no idea where TeX has put my page breaks and I would prefer not looking in the document to insert the $$page manually. Is there another way to view dvips output? Or,is there another way than inserting the $$page for doing it with preview? Another problem that I have is with my file transfers over the phone line. Prof. Solovay , from Berkeley, placed an old version of kermit on the network a few weeks ago, but its use appears to be very restrictive. I do not know whether someone somewhere is working on porting a later version to the NeXT. If so, I would be happy to learn when it will be available (the reason I do not do this myself if you wonder, is just that I do not have enough experience for this kind of job). Or better, would there already be a version available that allows one to do terminal emulation as well as transfering files? Thank you in advance for your help.
