[comp.sys.next] Floptical data fade...

I head a rumor (just a rumor) that the floptical disks were experiencing
"data fade," ie: the partial loss of data after the disk has not been used
for a few months.  Has anyone else heard this rumor or experienced it for
themselves?  I have not been reading this newsgroup long so perhaps it has
already been discussed.  If so, please just e-mail me.
