[net.auto] Best maintenance manuals?

chas@ihuxe.UUCP (Charles Lambert) (08/06/85)

I'm about to roll up my sleeves to service and tune a '75 Plymouth Gran Fury.
Can the wrench-wielders among you tell me which is the best series of
maintenance/repair manuals for domestic models? I want a comprehensive
manual, such as Chilton's, not just a tune-up guide.

Charlie, you answered your own question, If you don't like the price,
you probably won't like it when the cheaper manuals leave you and your engine
stung about the garage floor. Chilton's has never let me down, ( 10 years of
serious car repairing) or my Dad ( mechanic by profession 45 years ). Go with
the best, you can't go wrong.
