You may not believe that volvo's are the safest cars in the world there are a couple other models that are just as safe probably,(foreign) i guess the best test to prove it to yourself is to take a walk through a junk yard and compare the volvo's to other models to see how they held up in simular cases. I own two volvo's and don't really own them for there safety(though it nice to know) but i own them for there comfort, ease of driving and handling ability...plus they look good.
