A while back someone mentioned that they were able to use TechnologyWorks (Phone:800-622-2210) SIMMs in a NeXT. TechnologyWorks makes their own surface-mount boards and puts Samsung 70ns PAGE MODE 1 Meg DRAM chips on them. They sell both 1Meg X 8 bit and 1 Meg X 9 bit arrays. (Prices are $109 and $121 each if 8 boards are ordered). NeXT wants $375 per board. Question: Does anyone know whether NeXT memory is Page Mode (Like the Mac) or something else (eg., column or nibble)? Also, does NeXT use parity (ie, 1Meg X 9 arrays of 1Meg X 8 bit arrays)?
