Is the NeXT binary file compatible with any other machine in
the Unix world?
Our company is considering purchasing a NeXT for firmware
development. Our immediate need is for a Motorola 6809
cross-assembler and C complier. While the vendor that we
presently use for our 386 clones won't supply source, some
other vendor may.
It would be nice, however, to know if the NeXT is binary
compatible with any other Unix, as many vendors with fine
products are reluctant to supply source.
