(I posted this earlier, but I don't think it made it. Apologies if it did.) direction, presumably to minimize dust collection problems. Has anyone determined whether this is a fix which can be applied to what it looks like to me, but I don't know if there are any other changes needed. 2) When I run atom on a Sun3 binary I get the following error message. memory allocation error: vm_allocate failed atom: virtual memory exhausted (Not enough memory) This is on a program compiled with f77. Its worked with other f77 binaries. It fails immediately. No thrashing involved. Life is too short to waste it translating old fortran programs to C. Paul Lansky Music Department Princeton University

(beginning of previous posting garbled. should have read... 1) I notice that the newer NeXTs have the fan blowing the other direction, presumably to minimize dust collection problems. Has anyone determined whether this is a fix which can be applied to to the original machines by simply turning the fan around? That's what it looks like to me, but I don't know if there are any other changes needed.
