[comp.sys.next] swapfile, X

swfc@mendelssohn.? (Shu-Wie F Chen) (10/04/89)

I have two questions concerning the NeXT machine (which I happen to
like very much).

1. Sometime last week, my swapfile grew to 111 Mbytes. How can I
QUICKLY reduce this to the low watermark of 20 Mb (other than
rebooting)?

2. Now that MIT has finished a port of X to the NeXT, how do we go
about getting it.

Thanks.

This is a repost. Apologies if you are seeing it again.

Who says MIT has finished the X port? What I see here is not ready for
distribution. If I hear anything about it being ready for distribution
I will post it to this newsgroup.
