I believe I read a recent article in Car & Driver- possibly by one of their columnists, about Buick V6 oil burners. The article dealt with why late model Buick-built V6's burn a quart of oil each 800 miles. The Buick factory rep sez 'That's normal(!!!) The writers mechanic suggested that Buicks have had problems with valves and valve guides in their V6's all along and suggested he get rid of it or fight with GM. He got rid of it. Anyone remember this?? LWS hou2d!lws
