[comp.sys.next] modems on the cube

HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!

What should I do so I could connect a modem to the cube. Specifically,
I would like to add either a Courier 2400 or an old Apple 1200 Baud modem.
Would the cables which I use now on the Mac II work? How can I let the cube
know that it has a modem attached to it. Which port to use?

Please be gentle with your answers, I am a mathematician and only an amateur
in the cube-unix business.

I hope NeXT is taking note of how many intelligent people are having
trouble figuring out the proper way to connect serial devices to the Cube.
