the NeXT? Something like etherfind or tcpdump?

How about NeXT supplying the kernel patches for traceroute. Maybe I should threaten to. :-) What about RARP? What about an RFC 1048/1084-compliant BOOTP? RFC 951 is USELESS for anything except other NeXTs. NeXT has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to networking. -=EPS=-
