[comp.sys.next] perfmon

dennisg@kgw2.UUCP (Dennis Glatting) (11/29/89)

to those of use who use Suns an app called perfmeter
is quite handy. does anyone know of such an app
for the NeXT? it would be nice to monitor ether
traffic and disk loading.

Yes, it is called LoadStatus, and it's available in source form by
ftp from the Purdue archives:
  cc.purdue.edu 128.210.8.3 pub/next 1800-0700 EST

It may also be in the Maryland or Oregon State archives, but I am
not certain about that.

(in case Gnews is still mangling my return address, use ed@dtg.com)

My apologies. The application is called NLoad, not LoadStatus. I
should also mention that it is not exactly a replacement for perfmon,
but rather shows load stats and queues.

Again, my apologies for the mix-up.

silly question.
what if you don't have ftp access? is it available via uucp and
if so, what are the parmeters (phone #, acct name)?
