I get the following error about twice a day that causes me to have to pull the plug on the cube to regain access: Dec 12 05:18:28 othello lookupd[395]: netinfo sleeping: RPC: Timed out Dec 12 05:30:00 othello lookupd[63]: netinfo failure, sleeping When I look at what's running on the system, the netinfod is gone. The symtoms are: 1. No further logins 2. Can't use su 3. No access to net Has anyone seen/fixed this problem before. Do I have corruption in my netinfo database? Do I need to run netinfo, can I just run a standard network on this machine. (It's standalone on the net) -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter R.
