OK, enough already! It becomes more and more apparent that the guy who did the background spiel on the NeXT for our campus had his head up his butt. Enough people have told me how wrong I am on the hardware issues involved with the NeXT that I think I will remember my mistakes longer than the NeXT or any other currently envisioned computer is around. I've messed with the software environment of the NeXT a fair bit, but I will freely admit to never having opened one up and looking inside. Additional admission of guilt: having a campus rep with his head up his butt is no excuse for my ignorance! I should have known better than to trust one account of the situation.
