My company is planning on distributing a disk of public domain software for the NeXT within a couple of weeks. The disk will contain such things as: -NeXT-specific information, images, and sounds -NeXT-specific programs (mostly from the net archives) -Unix programs customized for the NeXT GNU stuff netnews (bnews, cnews, nntp, rn, etc.) utilities (compress 4.0, etc.) communications (Kermit, zmodem, etc.) programming utilities (perl, xlisp, etc.) games (NX_Void, etc.) random other things -Unix programs not yet customized for the NeXT GNU stuff comp.sources.{unix, misc, games} random other things off the net For most of the NeXT-specific stuff, the disk will include updated installation scripts and instructions. The disk will be available for around $100, and again, ought to be out within a couple of weeks. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
