[comp.sys.next] X11R4 NeXT project Athena

I have been following with interest the release of the X11 release 4
since the group at project Athena is said to be working on a release of
X windows for the NeXT.  I understood that this release was to be tied
to the release 4 of X.  Would someone from project Athena care to comment
about the timing of the NeXT release?  I would like to run some of the
software (like genesis) that is not yet avaiable under NeXTStep
