[comp.sys.next] Bad optical disk

Hello,

    I have a Optical Disk that will not initialize.  I recieve an error
    code 768.  Is this a hard error on the disk ( and if so, is there
    an way I can get a new one ), or is this some kind of correctable
    software error.

    Any help will be much appreciated.
