The Real Reason Two Mouse Buttons Are Better Than One. It was bound to happen. I had been noticing the worn area on the left mouse button for a while. Nine months of 12 hour a day hacking had taken its toll on the poor switch. And zap, right in the middle of triple clicking a line of text, the button switch gives out, in a Mousedown state,no less... Do you realize how helpless you are without a mouse? You cannot switch contexts without a pointing device. I cranked up my mac, got a terminal up and proceeded to find the correct NX default to switch buttons. This line and a reboot has got me up again: dwrite NeXT1 MouseHandedness Left also, be sure that the buttons aren't slaved with: dwrite NeXT1 MouseButtonsTied No andrew "Objects considered harmful" ||<<++>>||<<-->>||<<==>>||<<++>>||<<??>>||<<++>>||<<-->>||<<==>>||<<++>>|| !!
