I did see the message about Comunicea, so I don't need to know that it does what I want. I was wondering if there were any other (being a poor student free, or very inexpensive) Tektronix emulators for the NeXT. We have several pakages that run just fine, but they tend to prefer to produce tek 4014 or 4016 output. It would be convienent to be able to edit in one window and look at output in another using the NeXT as opposed to having to go to a Tek terminal. If there is no such free-ware available, I suspect I will write one here when I get the time, but I would like one now, and it would be sort of pointless to go to that much trouble reinventing the wheel. Any info would be apreciated. Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Beach @ Colorado School of Mines Golden, Colorado USA I-Net and BitNet : rbeach@mines | CS/CH or : rbeach@csm9a <I-Net> | UUCP : ...isis!csm9a!rbeach | I'm not even responsible

A quick-and-dirty way of displaying graphics output intended for a Tektronics 4014 is to use /usr/bin/ps4014 to convert the Tektronics format to PostScript then use /NextApps/Preview or /NextDeveloper/Demos/Yap to display the PostScript.
