I have a problem. After I am able to run LaTeX and view the dvi file through texview I try running dvips on the dvi file to get the postscript version for printing. I type dvips -r input > output I have a problem at this point. here is the diagnostic output.... This is dvips, version 3.6 (C) 1987-9 Radical Eye Software ' TeX output 1990.02.28:2026' - MakeTeXPK cmbx10 518 300 magstep\(3.0\) This is METAFONT, C Version 1.7 (no base preloaded) Metafont failed for some reason on cmbx10.518gf dvips: Could not open cmbx10.518pk, loading tfm dvips: Could not open cmsy10.360pk, loading tfm dvips: Could not open cmbx12.300pk, loading tfm [tex.pro]. [6] [5] [4] [3] [2] [1] In the output file I find that most of the section headers are missing...rest of the text comes out more or less Ok. This does not happen when I run dvi2ps on Sun or Sequent machines. But then I cannot print their postscript output on NeXT.
