I just submitted sources for a small demo App that does real-time reverb from the DSP (Digital Ears or Digital Microphone or ...) to the stereo-out on the back of the display. It can in theory take input from the Mic as well, but due to a bug in the libraries I'm using, this is mostly broken. (This can be fixed by linking the new libraries in when Metaresearch and/or NeXT release a fix.) One of the neater thing about the App is the Info Panel which I worked on making sort-of unique (and which I hope to use as a signature in the future for all my Apps). I didn't include the sources to this hack since that would have given high-quality data to any potential forgers "out there" (I don't know whether worrying about such things makes sense anyway...). Anyway, this is a neat hack and I wanted everyone to have a chance to play with it. Without a DSP input device, it is hard to hear the reverb work, but you can always try. Be sure to read the Caveats and Help in the Info Panel. Charles P.S. -- Sources are on cs.orst.edu in sources/Reverb.tar.Z, which also has a copy of the App itself pre-made inside.
