Is anyone still using my WriteNow to troff converter? Would anybody like a copy that has corrected translation tables for the NeXT (the current version assumes the Macintosh character set)? If the answers to the above are yes, maybe I ought to ask the keepers of the archives to put it in their collections. Or does someone have a better program? For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about: I wrote a program that converts WriteNow documents to troff source. It doesn't do footnotes or headers. It does do most other things, and the output, once run through troff, looks quite like the WriteNow original. I use it to produce man pages and the like, which have to be troff source. -- Steve Dorner, U of Illinois Computing Services Office Internet: s-dorner@uiuc.edu UUCP: {convex, uunet}!uiucuxc!dorner

Lots of people have asked me for the program (already). I sent it to the archive at purdue. I don't know if it will be included or not. If not, I'll make other arrangements. -- Steve Dorner, U of Illinois Computing Services Office Internet: s-dorner@uiuc.edu UUCP: {convex, uunet}!uiucuxc!dorner
