Occasionally I have to write a paper on the NeXT and I need to make twenty or so copies of the finished product for classmates, friends, etc. If the paper is 30 pages long, we're talking about several hundred pages of finished stuff. Q: How much does it REALLY cost me to use the printer on the NeXT? Should I make one copy and go to Kinko's (6 cents/page) or should I just let the printer run for an hour? Assume the paper itself costs 1 cent per page. What are the per-page estimates on toner and printer wear? Surely someone has figured this out already...? (I know when I was at school and the printer wasn't mine, they told me to make copies elsewhere. Was that just to keep the printers free, or what?) Jeff Adams adams@ucscl.ucsc.edu
