After valiant fights with g++, I have run into the problem that I don't have an ld++. Could someone please tell me how to create one on NeXT? I didn't purchase Lighthouse's disk, because most of the stuff that interested me was fairly easily available over the net, and easy to bring up. What I believe would be of far more value would be for someone to bring up the stuff that isn't too streightforward: gcc (with protoize) g++ libg++ other gnu stuff X all the X programs that have to be compiled on a Sun. In particular, there are a lot of nice data and graphing tools which I would love to get. The real value would come from (1) the fact that many people like me either don't have Suns available to compile and "atom" X sources, and (2) the fact that an OD has enough space to have everything in binary, ready-set-up form, too. This would save a lot of duplication by people trying to bring up various programs. Any takers? /ivo
