Hello, I recently installed the Mathematica Update and am having some problems with Mathematica. I can not say if the problems are related to the new version or not because Mathematica had not been used alot before the update. Basically what happens is Mathematica will function fine for a while and then will hang with the main window saying "Running..." and will never return. If you kill Mathematica and start it back up the above happens for any command you issue even the $Version command. If the machine is powered off and then back on Mathematica seems to work fine for a while but then the problem reoccurs. During the time Mathmatica is hung nothing unusual like messages in the console window or high load average happens.
