[comp.sys.next] Usenet on a NeXT

geoff@pmafire.UUCP (Geoff Allen) (07/11/90)

Please forgive if this is a dumb or frequently asked question. I've
scanned this newsgroup for a few weeks and haven't seen anything along
these lines, so I'll barge on in....

I'm interested in hearing from folks who use a NeXT for connection to
the net. I'm not that familiar with the NeXT (I own a <gulp>
Macintosh). I'm asking for a friend with a NeXT who's looking at the
possibility of joining us all on the net (via modem, if that makes a
difference).

Do you use the ``regular'' net software (news, rn, et. al.), or has
anyone come up with something that's lots slicker for the NeXT?

Please send information, anecdotes, etc. to uunet!pmafire!geoff and I'll
summarize if anyone's interested.

Thanks,

Geoff
