(distribution: na There is indeed a color machine, and if you want to see one right now, all you have to do is sign a non-disclosure agreement and get to Redwood City.(It's the last part that stops me;-) Runs *very* fast--or so I hear from the front. Should be out around October but that's just hearsay. You will be able to pump your machine to color by buying the addon color board (and the monitor *expensive* for the monitor part I hear). You can buy the color board though and your b/w monitor turns into a super greyscale unit. In any case you will need to have the buss interface chip soldered onto your motherboard. 040 board upgrade does not include the color board with it ;-) but makes the display **very** fast (now that Motorola has fixed the FPU bugs ;-) No 96000 DSP with the 040, but at least one third-party outfit is preparing to release a DSP board with multiple 96000's on it. Yow. (this one is expensive too). Sounds like fun to me!
