Recently I've had my cube panic with some sort of SCSI timing error on my internal 330 Mbyte disk, invariably when I'm running a few disk-intensive processes (and quite possibly when it starts to swap). Last night I left several jobs running overnight and woke up this morning to the "dead monitor/dead keyboard" syndrome -- could these be related? Are they cause for concern (my warranty expires in a few months)? Anyone else see this sort of behavior? System configuration: basic cube + OD (not used when crashes occurred) + 8 Meg + 330 Mbyte hard disk. This problem has occurred only a few times within the past month. I leave the cube on almost all the time. Brad Garton Music Dept., Columbia University brad@woof.columbia.edu
