Driving Front Wheel Drive ------------------------------- I am new to this feeling myself in the past year with my Dodge Daytona. I have found my biggest enemy is torque steer. The sharpness of the corner doesn't seem to matter if acceleration remains constant thru the turn. The problem is when you vary your cornering speed at all, up or down! The only way I've overcome this is experimentation. I've trained myself to increase or decrease my push on the steering wheel as I do the same to the throttle. This seems to work well and I haven't had any trouble in negotiating those 25 MPH offramps @ 50-60 MPH. Have fun cornering!!! _Rick

Since the Scirocco is also front wheel drive, the two cars should be similar in handling. So, could someone post/mail me a summary of how to drive a front wheel drive car? -- John Allred General Computer Company uucp: seismo!harvard!gcc-bill!john
