I am trying to create an image of a hypertext application for an article. What I would like to do is to have the image of a screen with various windows open on it, where the windows will hold text (some of it in reverse video). Nothing more complex than that, I don't need to or plan to actually make a working hypertext application. A friend suggested that we do something with texteditor objects in a NeXT interface builder. Sounds like a swell idea, but to make it work I need to be able to print the resulting screen. Is there a simple way to do this? RTFM is presumably the right answer, but the local documentation is incomplete and unindexed. Even better would be to get the postscript code for the screen image in a file. I notice that there are some full screen images in a book called _The_NeXT_Bible_, although they may simply be photographs of the screen. Thanks in advance for any help. The Scene application in NextDeveloper/Demos does it. You can capture the entire screen and save as bitmap (or eps) or particular windows. There appears to be several multimedia applications for the NeXT. Does any of them read Hypercard stacks from the Mac? There is a lot of hypermedia work invested in those stacks.

In scene there is an option on the main menu called snapshot. You can use that to take pictures of the screen and have them printed out.
