[net.music] EMI-America censors Kate Bush!

["See how deep the bullet lies"]

Contrary to previous rumors, EMI-America will not be releasing Kate
Bush's video for "Running Up That Hill". Apparently they think its too
erotic for a Madonna jaded audience. (Those scum-sucking bastards!)
I'll just quote a letter I received from Hugh Maher to inform you in
more detail:

Now the bad news -- I called EMI-America here in LA today, and
this woman there told me that the release of Kate's new video
for "R.U.T.H." has been delayed, because the bosses at
EMI-America decided it wasn't "suitable" for the American
market, and have decided to call it back and replace it with a
boring performance clip (or so she said). She said that the
original video that was almost released was the most incredible,
creative, original video that she's seen, and she's really sorry
	it won't be released.

	SHIT!

Well, maybe Night Flight will get the original, but I wouldn't hold my
breath. Sorry to disappoint you.

Maybe someday I'll manage to get a copy from England and I can rent some
PAL equipment, and you can all come over to my place and see it....
