cnh5730@calvin.tamu.edu (Chuck Herrick) (09/11/90)

there's supposed to be a book titled
"Scientific Applications for the NeXT Computer"
by Richard Crandall and Marianne Colgrove
	published by Addison-Wesley: (404) 394-7233

has anyone seen it? is it imminent? should we all
begin to call Addison-Wesley asking for it?

I spoke with an Addison-Wesley representative two weeks ago. She asked
me and any others who might be interested to "encourage" to author to
complete the book. I don't recall the author's name, but he works at
NeXT, Inc.

Further, she indicated that they hadn't received ANY manuscript and that
even if they got it today it would be atleast 6 months before they could
run their first printing. I'm not holding my breath for this book...
