I have been unsuccessful in getting our local "Campus NeXT Representative" or the campus NeXT sales staff (this does not include the Houston NeXT salecritters) to provide this information, so I ask wiser folk... Could someone provide me with, point me at, or generally inform me as to what Fortran compilers are available for the NeXT? I know about the Absoft compiler and its insane pricing, but 'd like to think that there are other, more reasonable options available. Addresses and prices, hints on where to look in the FTP archives, and anything else would be muchly appreciated! dan davison regular email: davison@uh.edu premium e-mail: dbd@dna.bchs.uh.edu (NeXTmail, that is). -- dr. dan davison/dept. of biochemical and biophysical sciences/univ. of Houston/4800 Calhoun/Houston,TX 77054-5500/davison@uh.edu/DAVISON@UHOU "Without the voice of reason, every faith is its own curse" -- Sting Disclaimer: As always, I speak only for myself, and, usually, only to myself.

I know about I believe that Bellcore provides a freely available and thoroughly tested FORTRAN to C translator which may be just about all you need. It should be available for anonymous FTP but I got a copy by some roundabout method. Dick
