So most programs will be distrubuted on floppy. In fact, that's how I'd like to distribute some that way. Does a new drive come with the upgrade? How much for one alone? etc. Dan -- Internet: gessel@cs.swarthmore.edu UUCP: {bpa, cbmvax}!swatsun!gessel

While this is listed at $1300, you are required to use system software 2.0 on it ($195, include Software Release 2.0 Extended on OD, keyboard tilt feet, and upgrading to release 2.0 manual, setup and tutorials, NeXT user's refrence, NeXT Applicaions, and Netwrok and System Administration manuals.) No, the 2.88 floppy certainlly doesn't come with upgrade, an external sells for $499 (estimated) from 3rd party. Now my question: The Improv is to be distributed on this 2.88 floppy media, and will be freely included to people who buy NeXTstations or upgrade before 12-31-90... I wonder how we the old cube owner is going to install this software to our cube? (since we don't have that 2.88 floppy...) cyliao@wam.umd.edu o NeXT : I put main frame power on two chips. @epsl.umd.edu o people: We put main flame power on two guys. @bagend.eng.umd.edu o :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: xxxxx@xxxxx.xxx.xxx (reserved) o RC + Apple // + Classic Music + NeXT = cyliao
