I would like to back my NeXTs up on my nice, new 8mm tape drive, which is attached to a Sun SPARC 330. My other Suns can dump to this drive, but the man page says that NeXTs can only rdump to other NeXTs, and the NeXTs say "file not found" when I try to use machine:/dev/nrst#. We've got NFS everywhere, and the Suns and NeXTs have entries for each other in their /.rhosts and hosts.equiv files. Is there some other voodoo to do, or should I give up? Does Mach 2.0 solve this?
