I've been looking forward to buying a NeXT for some time now and had
been anxiously awaiting the intro of the new machines (and the new
prices!). But I was rather disspapointed when I learned that the price
of the now optional optical was $2895 at my school -- putting an '040
Cube with an OD well out of my price range. As I have a rather
extensive graphics library I _need_ the optical drive for storage.
Hence, I am in the market for a good used '030 Cube.
If anyone is interested in selling their '030 cube, e-mail me with the
specs of your system and your asking price. I'm interested in basically
any configuration, but the barebones (Monitor, 8meg, 40MB accelerator,
Optical, keyboard and rat (of course), and the system stuff) would be
the best.
