Hi all, I've recently been elected to head the newly founded Developer's Special Interest Group of the San Diego NeXT User's Group. I've never done anything like this before, so... Can anyone who is involved with other developer's SIG's out there give me some guidelines to follow in structuring meetings? What kinds of activities should I plan (e.g. running through the Lab[1-4] examples from the dev. camp? the project[1-4] examples in the IBTut?). Should I talk about things other than IB/Obj-C programming (e.g. sysadm duties, uucp, shell programming [and other general UNIX things], etc). How long should the meetings last? Should I have a "topic" for each meeting (e.g. "DPS 101" or "SQL for the non-programmer") or just let meetings evolve as they may? Any help will be greatly appreciated (if it is warranted, I'll post a summary), Paul Biron pbiron@ucsd.edu (619) 534-5758 Central University Library, Mail Code C-075-R Social Sciences DataBase Project University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, Ca. 92093 Paul Biron pbiron@ucsd.edu (619) 534-5758 Central University Library, Mail Code C-075-R Social Sciences DataBase Project University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, Ca. 92093
