In the original NeXT, Mathematica was bundled with the system. But I see no mention of Mathematica on the list of software items given on p. 16 of the new "Fall 1990 List Prices". Does this mean that Mathematica has been dropped? Too bad, if it is. I hear the new version of Mathematica for the Mac is a knockout and includes sound capability. Does anyone know why it was dropped from the NeXT and how much it will cost to replace it? Jim Beauchamp j-beauchamp@uiuc.edu

Users of the old systems will get an upgrade. Academic Users will get Mathematica also on the new systems. Mathematica is available as a 3rd party product ofr al the others. This is my understanding of the Mathematica-status.
