Here's a problem I have run into several times now... I try to deliver a mail message and a window pops up with the following information: File system error Unable to write /tmp/mailtmp.colin.1. File system error: No space left on device When this has happened before, I have had to reboot to get the mailer to start working properly again. Right now I can't afford to do this as I am in the middle of running a *large* Lisp program (it has been going for 3 days straight already). What is going on? Is it because my swap file is hogging too much space? The Lisp process keeps running without complaint, and disk info shows that I have plenty of free space available. Can I increase the space available for the tmp directory? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
