I just want to say in my previous post I stated that the upgrade price
for NeXTdiminsion for a NeXTcube is $955.00. I am still looking at
the price sheet and it still says $955.00. But I'm looking
at another price sheet and it says $995.00 so someone is screwing up
at the Spartan Bookstore. As it was pointed out to me in some email
that I got, the upgrade is actually in the range of $3000.00. So
maybe I should go get one for the advertised price and resell it for about
$2000.00.
I should have noticed the price problem because a NeXTstation color sells
for $8075.00 (340Mb drive 16megs memory) while the NeXTdiminsion in the
same configuration sells for $13010.00 (The NeXTdiminsion is a cube??)
So the price difference is $8075.00 + ~$1900.00 (To get cube) + ~3035.00
for NeXTdiminsion upgrade for cube. Comes to a total of $13010.00.
