Am I doing something incredibly dumb? About half of the Apps I get via anonymous ftp from Purdue or Oregon or wherever show up as TEXT files (you know - with the icon of a generic document). Why aren't they shown as Apps? Is there something I need to do like compile them or makefile them, or are they losing some magic number inthe transition, or what? Two examples (from last night) are Mixer and kermit (both in pub/next/binaries at Purdue) Any help is appreciated, but if I'm being really dense, you can spare the insults. -- _____________________________________________________________________ Jeff & Tamara Adams (or at least one of us)
