Is there any alternative to clicking on application in order to make it active? For example in X-window or SunView, an application is selected by moving the mouse over it. S.F. Wu wu@canon.co.uk

The reason according to some NeXT people why there is no way to switch from click-to-focus to move-to-focus is a pretty simple one: NeXTStep does window management, X does not. Thus, NeXTStep hides all panels from the screen when an application is not active. Imagine now moving your mouse on the screen. Each application window you hit would make panels pop up and go away just for the fraction of seconds. So I guess they are right when they think that would be a little bit too flashy. -- Ronald ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
