I have a short question for those of you who might can solve or had same problem. I just aquired a second hand 030 cube and have a problem with getting my PlayScore to work. When I load a score file and click on play it returns me with an alert saying that "Can't open DSP" I not really sure what it mean and can't figure it out. I hope it's the problem with program setting and not with the computer itself since I just got it. Can you please email me with suggestions. Thanks ==Chris, | _ * Chris W. Try Closing all of your apps including the scoreplayer, and then re-launch scoreplayer again. Sometimes if the dsp is being used and you try to run another app which uses the dsp, you will get the "Can't Open DSP" message. If you quit the app which was using the dsp originally, and again try the second app, you may get the same message because the app may be in a bad state. Quit that app and re-launch it and you shouldn't have any problems. Best of Luck. Ralph Schwarten (Hoping to be the first NeXT support person in oz.. To the best of my knowledge, the DSP availability is regulated by a file in /tmp. If after closing all apps, you still can't grab the DSP, try to delete this file. It has some obvious name, like *dsp*. /ivo welch ivo@next.agsm.ucla.edu
