Dove Computer is introducing a NeXT version of the DoveFax modem for sending and receiving faxes on NeXT Computers running System 2. The DoveFax modem provides 9600 fax / 2400 data transmission and receipt at $499 list. A bundle will also be available which includes both the DoveFax modem and HSD's OCR Servant optical character recognition software at $899 list. A 30-day trial provides for a full refund if users are not satisfied. The modem will be available directly from Dove or from NeXTConnection. There are only two very apparent differences: (1) DoveFax was previously available for the Mac market only - a new driver allows it to be used with the System 2 fax options. (2) It was a tough decision.
