---------- Dear NeXT community users: It looks like the Businessland fire sale is almost over. And Businessland sales people apparently try to raise the prices of the '030 Cubes on uniniformed customers. Earlier today, Mattfrom MIT posted that all the cubes under $3,000.00 in Boston area were gone already. I called around and confirmed it. I then ask my brother who lives in DC to call around. The salesman at Businessland try to sell him an '030 Cube with an OD, 8 megs of RAM, and a 40 meg swap HD for $5,000.00. Talk about unscrupulous salesman. In any case, I went to a demo put out by Boston Computer Society last night for NeXT. I was really impressed by 2.0 and the '040 station there. I just wish the prices of the software and peripherals will come down from Workstation price range to PC range. If that doesn't happen, NeXT will never become affordable for joe average. Anyway, enough of the blabbing. benson Wu bmwu@athena.mit.edu
