[net.auto] CAR STEREOS

	I heard rumors recently that the best car stereos were no longer the
Japanese brands.  I would like to find out what serveys these are from if
anyone knows.

1)	Apparently, the Delco brand has the best FM reception.  I think Delco
comes with a GM car.

2)	The tapedecks are all supposedly about the same quality, give or take
stupid gimmicks like autoreverse.  The major fact is that Sparkomatic brand has
the best repair record.

	Don't bet anyone on this stuff, these are just rumors until someone
tells me what servey their from.

Request recommendations on CASSETTE-RADIOS  for Jaguar XJ-6.
Primary concerns good radio, digital displays, simple controls;
also any knowledge concerning speakers (recommended placement, etc). plus
power amps, if appropriate.
