Our 1.5 year old NeXT console is getting very dim. Turning up the whiteness or changing the cutoff on the back of the console doesn't help. It is bright when the machine is first powered on, but then quickly goes dim; also, if we turn the brightness down to 0 from the keyboard, leave it there for a while, and then turn it up from the kbd, the screen will be much better, but then quickly goes dim again.
