Although I got a disktab for my 1.2 GB Wren 7 (Seagate ST41200n 094601-12G) I cannot boot from it normally. In the monitor I can see that irt stopa after: "SCSI 53C90A Controller. Target 7, as sc0 at 0x2014000." At that point I hit the power key and enter "n" to say that I don't want to turn off the power and the boot process continues. Ther are a few unusual messages: /dev/rsd0b: CANNOT READ: BLK 8 /dev/rsd0b: UNEXPECTED INCONSITENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY Reboot failed...help! Faking root mount entries Eventually I get the # prompt at which entering "Control-D" puts me into the normal NeXT environment. When I set up the HD with buildisk, the message said that a 660MB disk was being formatted, because there wasn't a BLD file for the 1.2 GB disk. Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to boot normally? Will this problem be solved by system 2.0? --MitcH -- Mitch Alland, Mitch.Alland@f421.n109.z1.fidonet.org via The Black Cat's Shack's FidoNet<->Usenet Gateway blkcat.fidonet.org and Fidonet 1:109/401
