I just uploaded this file from ftp.gac.edu and was wondering if it is actually an upgrade to Stuart2.0. It came without docs or registration files. I tried it and it looks very much like 2.0!! The info panel indicates version 2.0 and no information is given on 2.01. Is this a bogus file? Should I dump it out the door and register for 2.0? _____________________ Felix A. Sigh. _Please_ contact me directly with these questions! If you cannot
find my address in whatever the question's about (in the Extra Info
in Stuart, Info panel - then the button), just look around a little
(it's not like I'm not right up there with glenn on posting ability :-).
Stuart2.01 is a version of Stuart which fixes certain problems which
occur using vi while remotely logged into Sun machines. Hmm. No, I
don't think anything else is fixed. I decided to make it availiable
to people who reported problems with the bug, rather than repeat what I
did this summer (3 updates in 2 weeks). Since the bug is not a really
major one, I didn't feel that it warranted major net hubub.
Now, since the cat is already out of the bag . . . There's an executable
on ftp.gac.edu, anonymous login, pub/NeXT-Apps/Stuart2.01.Z. As
mentioned, it fixes a couple problems. This will be my standard
method of making minor bug fixes availiable.
I'll probably release a minor release (say, 2.1) later this month, or
early January. No really new and amazing functionality, just fix
a couple minor bugs.

I'm one of the people for whom Scott made 2.01 available. Thanks, Scott, for your quick response to my problem report.
