Hi fellow NeXT lovers, I'll be in the San Francisco Bay Area for the Christmas vacation, Dec 23 thru Dec 30. So, I'm wondering if anyone would like to get together and chat about NeXT? Over lunch or dinner would be great. The more time your schedule could permit the better. Any user groups meeting? I'd love to attend. I'll have access to a car while I'm in the area, so I can travel to nearby towns or cities. At Queens College, where I work, we are just starting to get into Unix workstations. I have access to a NeXT in my department and love it. We are considering putting together a NeXT Lab. It would be very helpful for me to see how Unix workstation labs are being used and administered at your college. So, if a tour of your College's NeXT Lab would be possible, I'd be very interested and grateful for your time. (Unix is somewhat new to us at Queens, so I'm looking for examples of how Unix is being used in an academic atmosphere. Most of our students and faculty are using either VMS or CMS for instruction and research. I'd like to take this opportunity to tour Unix sites for ideas, so that I won't have to reinvent the Unix wheel at Queens College.) Reply if you would like to get together. I'm looking forward to meeting UseNet friends in the Bay Area.
